For deliveries within Germany, the following payment methods are available:

Shipping Terms for Live Animals

Delivery is carried out within the European Union.

Packaging Standards

At Euro Corals, we adhere to the highest standards when preparing your order. Each coral and invertebrate is carefully packed in multiple poly bags with the correct amount of water to prevent leaks. Fragile species are placed in protective plastic soufflé cups to prevent movement and damage during transit.

All bags are sealed with aluminium fasteners, then placed inside insulated shipping containers to maintain stable temperatures. Heat or cold packs are added when necessary, and during cold weather, we use double insulation with extra heat packs for maximum protection.

All packing materials — including insulation and temperature-control packs — are provided free of charge.

Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped via UPS ISC Livestock Express or Go! Overnight.

You will receive an email with tracking details on the day your order ships. A recipient must be available at the delivery address to accept the shipment and protect livestock from rain or extreme temperatures.

Orders may be held for up to 2 weeks upon request, and delivery dates can be adjusted any time before we ship. Saturday delivery is available within Germany only, for an additional fee of €39.90.

Important: If an incorrect or incomplete delivery address causes delays or failed delivery, our guarantee will be void. The customer will be responsible for all related losses and costs. To update or correct an address, please notify us by email before shipping.

Delivery Times and Scheduling

Unless a different lead time is stated in the product description, standard delivery within Germany takes place within 3–5 days, and international deliveries within the EU take place within 5–7 days. If payment is made by advance bank transfer, the delivery period begins after receipt of payment.

Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.

At checkout, you may select your preferred delivery day. Before every shipment, we check weather conditions at both the destination and transit points. If extreme temperatures pose a risk, shipping will be postponed and you will be contacted to arrange a new delivery date.

Delivery times vary depending on the category of coral you order. Because each type of coral is prepared differently, at checkout the system will automatically show you the earliest available delivery date, based on the longest lead time required by the coral category in your cart.

If your cart contains corals from different categories, the delivery date shown at checkout will be based on the coral that needs the longest time to prepare. This ensures every coral in your order arrives fully healed, healthy, and ready to thrive in your reef aquarium.

If you choose to collect your order in person, we will inform you by email once the goods are ready and provide collection details. In this case, no shipping costs will be charged.

Shipping Costs for Germany & Austria

Free shipping: From an order value of €199.

Standard shipping: All orders are shipped exclusively via UPS & Go! Overnight. If you place your order before 2:00 p.m., you will receive it the next day, at approximately 12:00 noon.

Saturday delivery: Saturday delivery is available in Germany and Austria for an additional fee. This option is not available for free-shipping orders.

Shipping Options for the Rest of the EU

Shipping discount: For orders over €199, a discount of €9.90 applies to the standard shipping cost.

Standard shipping: We ship all orders via UPS Express to ensure delivery the following day.

Free shipping within the EU is available based on your order subtotal. Free shipping is not available for wholesalers or retail stores, and thresholds may vary depending on the destination country. Please refer to our Free Shipping Chart by Country for detailed information.

Guarantee Policy

5-Day Guarantee (Corals only): If a coral does not survive within 5 days of delivery, we will issue either a store credit or a replacement of the same coral.

Invertebrates: Covered by our Arrive Alive Guarantee only. They are not eligible for the 5-day coverage.

Wholesalers and retail stores are covered by a 24-hour guarantee only.
